Swedish style doesn't scream "look at me!" Instead, it captures our attention and never lets it go. This was best displayed this week at the Detroit Auto Show where the brand revealed the all-new Volvo XC90 R-Design. Amid flashy displays with rock and roll music, strobe lights, and words like "rebel" and "aggressive," the Swedish brand relied on its subtle approach to design and display and stole the show. Take a look.

A sportier design, the R-Design borrows from the Volvo XC90 with its "Thor-inspired" LED headlights, as they have been called, and its swooping profile and aggressive yet refined front grille. One look at its exclusive 20-inch wheels and it's easy to understand why the Volvo brand didn't need to take the in-your-face approach most other brands attempted at the show. It speaks for itself.

Our team at Volvo of Burlingame is excited by the options under the hood for this new model. We're especially excited to share an electric motor will be available at its highest trim level; it's said the electric motor will yield 400 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. We're excited for the chance to add this model to our new inventory in the near future.
