Just the other week, we here at Volvo of Burlingame told you all about our favorite automaker's big redesign plans for the Volvo XC90. Exciting news in its own right, but nothing compared to the news that we've just caught wind of. Believe it or not, the new XC90 was just the tip of the iceberg. Lo and behold, Volvo has plans to significantly update just about every last new and used car at our dealership.
Five years ago, the powers that be at Volvo made a promise to the world that even we here at Volvo of Burlingame thought was a whole new level of ambitious. For those who happened to miss it, they promised that they would have zero injuries or deaths in their vehicles by the year 2020. If it were any other automaker, we probably wouldn't buy it, but as is evidenced in all the new and used cars on our dealership, driver safety is no laughing matter to Volvo.
Folks, it seems like just yesterday when the 2013 Volvo XC90 rolled into our showroom for us here at Volvo of Burlingame to fawn over and test drive to our heart's extent. Sure, any day's a good day when a new or used Volvo appears in the dealership, as far as SUV's go, we're always been pretty partial to what the XC90 has brought to the table. 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, a 3.2-liter I-6 engine that gets 240 HP, a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive - trust us, it's a good drive.
